    Friday March 15, 2013, 12pm – 1pm. with Celtic Tradition, at Lenten Meditation, First Presbyterian Church, 823 SE Lane Ave, Roseburg.  
    Lenten Meditations in Music are provided, each Friday during Lent at 12:10 p.m., for everyone to quietly enjoy and meditate on music honoring our Lord Jesus Christ. The public is invited to First Presbyterian Church's 35-year Lenten Meditation tradition presented by many talented local musicians.

     On Friday March 15, The Celtic Tradition will perform contemplative Irish aires from the repertoire of Ireland's national bard Turlough O'Carolan. Based in Eugene and Roseburg, The Celtic Tradition is Linda Danielson (fiddle), Janet Naylor (harp) and Joe Ross (mandolin, guitar, concertina, hammered dulcimer).

    Cottage Grove Trick or Treat on Main Street. Main Street (between 5th and 8th Streets), Cottage Grove, OR. Cottage Grove area businesses invite everyone to Trick or Treat on Main Street. A section of Main and some side streets will be closed to vehicle traffic, and all area businesses have been invited to have a presence during the event. Canopies will feature their best Halloween displays from 3-5 p.m. on Thursday, October 31st.
    The Celtic Tradition will provide live Irish and Family music from 3 - 5 p.m. Based in Eugene and Roseburg, The Celtic Tradition is Linda Danielson (fiddle, vocals), Janet Naylor (harp, vocals) and Joe Ross (mandolin, guitar, concertina, hammered dulcimer, vocals). Always a crowd-pleaser with its great musical variety, the trio will feature some songs off their family album ”The Crazy Zoo: An Animal Songfest.”€
    Last year, over 1000 kids in costume visited downtown businesses so come prepared for a crowd (rain or shine). This event provides a safe and fun environment for kids and families to celebrate Halloween. More info is at: http://cgchamber.com/
